Piece by Piece was a game that I made with a small group of other students in 2023, the plot of which involved a toy getting broken and another toy fixing them and needing to work together with them in order to escape the dangerous house that they were living in. As I worked on every facet of this game such as textures, assets, programming, character design and environmental design, it proved to be a real test of skill and endurance, particularly with coming to a cohesive result whilst working alongside a group of other people. However, all of the effort and struggling was worth it, as our game was finished by our deadline and both submitted online for others to play and play-tested in front of a live audience to a positive reaction.
